I didn’t grow up around corporate careers — my family worked in the trades — so when it was time to start my own job search in college, I had no idea where to begin. That uncertainty sparked a genuine curiosity. I wanted to understand how people actually get hired into professional roles, so I dug into interviewing, hiring, and what employers truly look for.

Over time, I realized that while hiring gave me valuable insight, the work that mattered most was helping people move forward in their careers. That insight shaped the way I grew professionally. 

I began my career with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, later earned a Master’s in Education as my work shifted into teaching and career development, and eventually completed professional coach training through the International Coaching Federation pathway and the Goal Imagery Institute. Most recently, I became a Certified Digital Career Strategist, helping clients navigate today’s online job-search landscape with confidence.

My six years with Randstad / RiseSmart shaped much of the approach I use today. I coached professionals across dozens of industries and levels — many of whom hadn’t searched for a job in years and were suddenly navigating layoffs and uncertainty. Supporting them through that transition taught me how essential clarity, confidence, mindset, and a clear strategy are to rebuilding a career.

That’s why I created NexxtLevel Careers — to help experienced professionals articulate their value, strengthen their presence, and step confidently into what’s next.  If you have that feeling—of being overlooked despite your experience, of knowing you’re capable of more but not knowing how to break through—that’s what drives me every single day.
